Welcome Venture Park Secures Inaugural Tenant, 3PL, for 128,000 Square Feet in Phase I
Welcome Venture Park proudly announces the signing of an undisclosed 3PL as the first tenant in Phase I, marking a significant stride in the project's advancement.
Phase I, comprising nearly 400,000 square feet of prime leasing space, has attracted a prominent 3PL to secure 128,000 square feet within this state-of-the-art industrial, flex and life science development.
Ted Kakambouras, Director of Acquisitions, Southeast Region for Welcome Group, expressed enthusiasm, saying, "This inaugural lease signing signifies the robust demand for industrial spaces in the Triangle market. It's a testament to the compelling offerings and strategic advantages that Welcome Venture Park provides."
Scheduled for completion in the third quarter of this year, Phase I represents a comprehensive vision for an inviting business park, complemented by green spaces and designed to accommodate a diverse range of businesses, from manufacturing to life sciences.
"We are excited about the activity we have had so far and look forward to signing more tenants into the first quarter. With its close proximity to I-85, we are pulling tenants from several submarkets in the Triangle," stated Larry Lakins, part of the leasing team at Colliers International Raleigh.
Dale M. Hoxie, Principal Broker/President of Barrett Industries, represents the tenant in this significant transaction.
Randy Warren with RW2 Development Company (RW2Devco), alongside a consortium of local consultants, is steering the project's development and management, ensuring a seamless trajectory toward success.
Colliers International Raleigh, spearheaded by Larry Lakins, Hunter Willard, Andrew Young and Shields Bennett from the Raleigh Industrial Services Team, is handling the leasing for Welcome Venture Park.
